The Marine Diary
The Marine Diary!!! everyone post a entry to the diary like a new day you can do multiple days or just one day at a time - you can skip a few days what have you example: Day 1 :This is General Webley signing on... blalblalblalbla .... ... .. . . Day 25: blablabla (marine die) *end of the diary* Not sure how we can add an alien diary? would be something like "slept in the hive all day, woke up when a passing marine went by, went *hiss* then ate him" ----------------

Re: The Marine Diary
[i]Day 1, CPT Renagade signing on. We've just reached our destin, out back planet B579. Scanners and planet probes have indicated that this planet is suited to be colonized. Our mission is to go down there and check out the LZ to make sure there is no present danger in the surrounding area. The planet itself is a mixture of different surfaces, thick jungle like terraine followed up closely with wide open areas, proberly where base camp will be established. Im grouped up with a couple of new guys, who seem to have had some majour running with the wrong kind but above all i know their not going to chicken shit out on me. But i dont know why, this new guy Connor's seems to just give me a bad vibe! will see how well they do when the time comes to it. ****END OF TRANSMISSION**** ----------------

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 2 I got a bad feeling about this one...mostly because of the size of the planet, there is only about 5 Earth-Hours of sunlight in a cycle of 31H. All this darkness get my team cranky...probably because of those noises from outside the encampment. We got a small settlement installed and our drop ship just left to gather more colonist from the nearest space station. until now, there is no sign of intelligent lifeforms... the only thing on the kill-sheet is a creature that was looking to close to our food stock. I'm heading to the jungle with my team...Can't waste any more sunlight hanging here. ****END OF TRANSMISSION**** ----------------

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 3 PFC Husky Reporting In: it's still dark, we have about 2 more hours till sun rise atleast what u could call a sun. The planet has so much smog we can barely see during the day. The jungle seems alive almost like it's watching us. Last night LCPL Hargaden went missing, we have been looking for him for several hours. There's no way he is on this small FOB, most likely he just got lost in the jungle. We sent SSGT Davila's squad for him. We still haven't heard from any of them, it's not like him to be quiet for so long. We might actually have someone with us on this planet. *END TRANSMISSION* ---------------- ““When a warrior learns to stop the internal dialogue, everything becomes possible; the most far-fetched schemes become attainable.””

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 4
Patrols have been scheduled to find Davila's squad. The men are becoming nervous. More and more are reluctant to get into the jungle, even for short, routine scouting missions. Except for Connor. The bastard systematically accepts all the missions. It's like he wishes to roam through thick trees and bayous. On the sole occasion where I went with him, I had suspicions he had alreadytravelled to this godforsaken planet. We went back to the camp following his advices, and he never got wrong. That was simply impossible...
The whole area seems to be acting as if it was a gigantic living organism. After the five hours of sun, the jungle becomes full of noises, of life, with animals everywhere. And then, suddenly, a few hours before sunset, at the end of the long night, everything becomes still. No animal can be seen or heard. Silence invades everything.
When the sun rose on day 5, after the period of silence, we found Davila's patrol. Or what was left of them. A pile of bloody helmets had been meticulously set up at not even a hundred yards form the camp. Nothing else but a gory pyramid of helmets. A barbaric altar dedicated to which pagan deity ?...

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 5Pvt Hemi reporting : Great...what a mess. After the Davila incedent I'm back on prisoner detail. Weyland wanted this nutbag to come allong for the ride. "Baldy" as some call this halfwit got a nervous twitch when we found an abandoned WY complex. I thought this planet was under survey for colonization? Apparently WY been here before...Although it was probably a observation center it still sounded fishy to me, and looking at the reaction of prisoner Morse...im not alone in this matter. He knows more so maybe ill beat it out of him to get some answers, hehe. Were not the only ones on this shitball, thats for sure...and after our find we only got static from Gateway, like child that doesnt want to listen. Maybe its for the best, Weyland has been known to interfere and let a good "bughunt" go to waste on space-politics. Current events got everybody on edge, but im not too worried. The Wolfpack always squeezed itself out of sticky situations, and Davila's squad were a bunch of n00bs if you ask me. I was always looking foreward to thursday-night poker with those idiots. Ill light one in memory of those fools tonight. Shit...that english bastard is acting up again. I need to get him in check, brb. ****END OF TRANSMISSION**** [background check] Prisoner Morse is the last man to see an alien. (see alien 3) Sugesting these written events of ours are taking place after alien 3. memorable quotes : "what are we talking to her about, she's the one who brought the f*cker. Why dont we just take her head and shove it trough the f*cking wall!!" ---------------- "Resume your disorder..."

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 6 (Night Time)Recruit Weeperr reporting : My movement sensor is starting to freak me out...When I was in the jungle zone, I've seen some * beeping* comming from 3 different places! The only problem is that there were nothing...Nothing in those old trees. Winds gust in those massive branches can't trigger the sensor, it's impossible! There is for sure something there, but as far as I can tell, this thing is not human...not after what happend to Davila squad. Geez, I need to calm down, I'm in the best Colonial marines squad in the whole sector. I will make sure that this sensor is fixed before next sunset...Can't allow myself to do mistake, others are counting on me. * pulse rifle firing* What the hell... * Running foots steps fading away* ****END OF TRANSMISSION**** ----------------

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 7 PFC Husky Reporting In: I'm starting to wonder why were really here to many people keep disappering. We heard gun fire last night but we still don't know from where or who. There sending my squad in an hour to find out who was firing. I don't know, I don't get a good feeling about this. Everyones motion tracker are freaking out either we have a lot of glitchy gadgets or there is alot something out there and there slowly closing in. I don't really mind as long as I have my smart gun I'll be fine. This will be my first recon with the wolf pack and hopefully not the last. I keep wondering if all those story are true about the bug that's black as night and as big as bear. If it is then it can taste the rounds from my smart gun. Time to get suited up. *END TRANSMISSION* ---------------- ““When a warrior learns to stop the internal dialogue, everything becomes possible; the most far-fetched schemes become attainable.””

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 8WP Headquarter: CDT Solo I have just received the first reports from B579. The scout team we have send seems to have faced some unexpected events. I don't like that. Neither do I like the way this mission has been decided. Why did the big head decided the WP Troops to be there, just for a reckon. I have maybe underestimated the importance of this mission. Most of the guys there have been recently enlisted. I finally was quite well inspired to ask CPT MacCabbe to oversee the operation. He is one of a tough guy, along with experience and a great sens of leadership and improvisation. I'm more worried about those technical issues those marines are reporting in. I have checked the material myself. I don't want those guys to get into trouble just for technical reasons. I alway trusted CPT Hotblack on his material choice, with good reasons. No, there is something wrong down there. I'll urge CPT Shad to gather his team and head as soon as possible to that planet. I'll ask him to grab some of those new sentry guns with him. I don't want to take any risks. Hope they won't come to late. ----------------

Re: The Marine Diary
Day 9Srgt. Souness Reporting at 1200h Gunfire echoed from the nearby area of B526, 1Km south of basecamp. Reports of Xenomorphs increasing with each patrol of the area. Today, 5 marines disappeared. Search Team B found remains of only 1, a cadet. Srgt. Onex is leading the brigade tomorrow, leaving at dawn. I was asked to lead, I declined. My Brigade needs me at F345, A temple has been discovered with multiple heat signatures. Hopefully it will be a chance to utilise their training. Srgt. Souness signing off. ***END OF TRANSMISSION*** ---------------- The history of Hydro....thanks to Hemi :D
