Clan Council : Newsletter 177
Posted by Virion on 2013/8/24 23:00:00 (3843 reads)

Finally back from vacations and now back to business, including the weekly newsletters. Which means it's my turn, so here we go. I'm well rested, so I should be able to make for a good fight against the newsletter application tool. I think. Damned thing.

So first off, member news!
Sadly, there's no new members to inform you all about, though we do have Inductedmist going in for another application!
So yeah, GL Inducted, and just stay active this time :)
Other than that, Waingro and Prowler are still applying, so that should be done soon(TM)

Now, after that, the obvious: Gaming news!

Fuck yeah. I know right?

So yeahh.. onto actually good things..
Humble Bundle!
https://www.humblebundle.com/

Head down there asap, there is currently a pay-what-you-want in effect for some pretty neat games, such as Dead Space, Crysis 2 and whatnot! Besides, cheap games! What's not to love?
Also, paying above the average (which is around 5 bucks) gives you some other games, including Battlefield 3! Some of us own it, some of us may get it, but our Bf3 server's been seeing some more love, and you may just wanna get in and have some fun too :)

GTA V.

Yeaaahh. Pretty much 90% of why I'm saving for a computer. There's trailer's, and all sorts of reviews/info about it out already:
http://www.rockstargames.com/V/

I'm pretty psyched for it, obviously, but who wouldn't be. Can't wait, just hope I'll be able to run it by then :| I'd ask who's planning to get it, but I think pretty much everyone is, right? :P

World of Warcraft going free to play?

Lead designer Tom Chilton says MMO game may "at some point" switch to free-to-play model; game would have been in "bad shape" without casual-themed Mists of Pandaria expansion.
Speaking with Polygon, Chilton said Blizzard Entertainment is not against the idea of morphing the subscription-based game to a free-to-play model, but continues to have issues with such a business mode switch.
So yeah, according to that, we may be getting WoW F2p eventually, and likely are in the end anyway. Probably means you'll be limited if you play for ffree, but hey, may still be quite enjoyable to play for MMO fans.

Fuck yeah, don't miss it.
Thread's out and open about it, and will likely have the date sometime soon :)

And remember, there's always a wolf in the wood that is extremely competent at editing images.
