Hey boys n girls, its time for another epic newsletter brought to you by the letter W for WOOOOOOODY!! This week we'll try to figure out why Whisky is sooo obsesed with OUYA, what former YUKUZA members are doing, and possibly try to find out where the heck I've been for a while lol So come with me, and lets see what kind of trouble we can get into....
WOODBRIDGE, N.J. 06/06/2013 Authorities in New Jersey said a tanker truck carrying a load of Scotch whiskey tipped over on a residential street and briefly caught fire. Capt. Roy Hoppock of the Woodbridge Police Department said the truck collided with an unoccupied parked car and flipped on a residential street in the Fords section of town at 9 a.m. Tuesday, NJ.com reported Wednesday.
Hoppock said the driver was treated for minor injuries and firefighters were able to extinguish flames that started on the truck shortly after the crash. B-Line Trucking, based in Newark, N.J., declined to comment on the crash. Police did not reveal the brand of the whiskey or whether any of the product was lost in the crash.
Dammit, where the hell was I when this happened?
TOKYO, Japan 06/07/2013 A Tokyo prosthetics maker said about 5 percent of his business comes from former members of yakuza -- the Japanese mafia -- seeking artificial pinkies. Shintaro Hayashi, who runs the Aiwa Gishi prosthetics company, said he started to see a spike in the demand for prosthetic pinkies about a decade ago and he discovered it was a result of the yakuza requiring members to sever portions of their fingers to atone for serious offenses against the organization, ABC News reported Friday. The finger-chopping ritual is known as "yubitsume." Hayashi said former members of the yakuza come to him for prosthetic pinkies to hide their former affiliations and make it easier for them to get legitimate jobs. He said many customers buy multiple $5,000 prosthetic pinkies so they can be matched to their different skin tones in the winter and summer.
Shigeru Takei, a former yakuza member who asked that his real name not be revealed, said he had to undergo yubitsume four times during his 20-year stint with the organization. He said the missing fingers prevented him from landing a job until he obtained prosthetics from Hayashi.
Yeah, its kind of hard to count for some if they dont have fingers lol
...its not all Doom and Gloom...
Lebanon, Oregon (USA) 04/10/2013 Two Oregon teens saved their father's life by lifting a 3,000-pound tractor off of him after the machinery flipped over and pinned him to the ground. Jeff Smith of Lebanon, Ore., said he was trying to pull a tree stump out of his garden when his boot slipped off the clutch and the tractor flipped on top of him, with the steering wheel pinning his chest to the ground. He immediately began screaming for help.
His daughters, 16-year-old Hannah and 14-year-old Haylee, were walking their family dogs nearby when they heard his screams. The girls were able to lift the tractor just high enough so that he could slight his torso out from underneath and breathe.
Kinda sounds like the girls have an epic power level. Over 9000!!
Moving on... Kirschstomper has nominated a game night, scheduled for the 15th. For all those that have Natural Selection 2, make sure to get your practice on, cause we are gonna be doing this for real come the 15th. The time will be 8pm UK time, 3pm Eastern time, or 12pm Pacific time (depending on where you are, duh). See ya there!
I, myself, have been busy, I know. On top of working a lot of over time at my job, I gotz me a girlee friend that I'm constantly talking to (she is effin hot too), So yeah, sorry if I've been away for a bit, hopefully ill come around a lil more often in the next few days.
There are no new members to report this week. The WPC radio section of the site is nearly complete, thanks to the handy work of both Hemi and Whisky. Pretty soon everybody will be able to access the radio with ease strait from the site. There are just a few minor adjustments to be made, and we are in buisness! So stay tuned for sure....
Other then that, the site has been fairly quiet .
So our very own Tea Drinking Brit, Whisky.....has been going on and on about a new gaming console, the OUYA. Now, I personally know nothing about this thing other then its open source and very very affordable.
Ill let Whisky do the talking... http://www.wolfpackclan.com/modules/n ... -3993-36883-the-ouya.html
So in Hemi's epic drunkeness, he managed to preach to us about an upcoming ACM DLC coming out later this week sometime, which is to include maps from the iconic movies we all have grown to love. Be sure to check them out, especially if you have the season pass thingee.
