Welcome to another newsletter with Sin. Now before we get the news juices flowing, I would like to let all members know that DJWoody no longer needs more flares so keep them to yourselves .

Well i'll start with the new members news...........there are none this week.

Right now lets get down to business and where better to start than with aliens.



First on the aliens list is WPC's very own Aliens KF mod which has been updated to v1.2 and a hotfix as well, you'll need to ask Whisky what this entails as hes going down the TWI route of updating but not actually saying whats been done.
I would also like to say a big Congrats to Hemi, Whisky and the rest of the people involved with this mod as it made it onto the front page of PCGamer webpage http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/02/07/kil ... -friends-hear-you-scream/ , Well done guys.

We also have to say congrats to WPC Tic for winning the Aliens competition that was held on Friday night, up for grabs were the 2 map packs for AvP. Rules for this comp was the 1st person to stop Woody and his alien awesomeness would win. This proved slightly harder than first thought (took about an hour for Woody to be picked as alien).
Some of us got close, Tic even blew himself up trying before finally getting in the killer shot. Well Done mate.



With the impending release of A:CM a few of the WPC members have been playing different AvP games each day/night to get in the mood which has been a blast and Whisky and Dean have both posted videos in the video channel. Keep an eye on the channel as more will be posted and you can look forward to big fancy video at the end thanks to Whisky.

Also we now have a separate A:CM forum which is located in Gold Games so be sure to check it out and getting filling it up.



Counter Strike Global Offensive has had an update as well.(whats with all the game updates, jesus)
There were a few things fixed such as Password-protected community servers are no longer available for community matchmaking, Fixed layout of player details screen etc.
However the main part of the update was to add map making to the cs:go workshop, so get making them maps....plz.



Natural Selection 2 also got an update last Sunday which had loads of fixes and tweaks -
Shotgun uses now a symmetrical bullet spread pattern.
reduced grenade launcher damage radius from 8 down to 6.
reduced spit projectile speed by 12%
drifters now uncloak when an enemy unit touches them

The WPC radio is up and running with the likes of DJ Woody, Whisky, Blade, and Hemi (hopefully) all DJing for our pleasure. At the moment you have to go http://wildcard.dyndns-work.com/files/files/WPCRadio.asx OR

Each DJ has had sort of a set style except for Woody. This maybe subject to change.
Blade mostly Hardstyle,Trance,Jump,and Tecktonik.
Whisky has been mostly Dark and Industrial.
and Woody has spun all manner of electronic. but if he mixes live he has told me expect mostly Psytrance, House Breaks, DnB.
Hemi will play anything he wants cause he's Hemi and he can.

Blade has said he would be open to requests for music to play. (Thanks for radio info/pic Blade)



Due to circumstances beyond Buzz's control a couple of the servers have been stopped and there has been a few server changes. If a server isn't showing up check the IP, some server instances have migrated servers.

LordDean has been on the case and I believe the servers that were down will be hosted on LD's machine the time being, what a saint LD


It has come to our attention that things have been getting out of hand slightly on Team Speak again. I would like to remind everyone that uses TS that we do not mind a bit of banter, however, as has been said before banter is fine but if the banter is directed at one person all the time then we have went from banter to bullying...This will not be allowed to happen.
Any member(s) that are found guilty of this will be dealt with accordingly by me or another Long Fang.
Oh and Whisky has his ban hammer at the ready.




Lets finish this week on a happy note. As if most of you didnt know its valentines day this week so i expect to see some lovin instead of fightin on the boards...i will be watching.
