Welcome to another newsletter by Sin. Its been another quiet week but there still plenty news to go around.


January 25th marks the annual celebration of Scotland's national poet Robert Burns.
Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796) (also known as Rabbie Burns, Scotland's favourite son, the Ploughman Poet, Robden of Solway Firth, the Bard of Ayrshire and in Scotland as The Bard)[1][2] was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. He is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots language. Its always a good excuse to drink and eat.....loads.

NEW MEMBERS

There are no new members this week however the applications pending will be voted on in the coming week.

SERVER ADMINS

During some general chit chat on ts, a few times people have been trying to work out whos servers to play on. C'MON guys a perk of being part of the WPC is the choice of dedicated servers that are provided for us......FREE. There is a list of the servers on the WPC homepage(down left handside of page) so use them, thats what they're for.
On that note on behalf of everyone i'd like to thank all the server admins (Buzz, Whisky, Hemi, LordDean, B-2, sorry if i forgot someone) for the hard work that they put into hosting, running, supporting, modding the servers that we use. Without them we WPC would'nt be what it is today.... Cheers again guy.



Thanks to Hemi the Deadspace mod is now back to normal or at least as normal as can be. The server now has normal and hard waved based again and you can now play survival mode....good f****** luck, you'll need it. As far as im aware the guns have also been sorted so get your DS boots back on and get to killing.



Now then, there has been an update for Planetside 2 (http://wiki.planetside-universe.com/ps/Update_%282013/01/17%29). This was more of a balancing patch. However there is upcoming patch at the end of January which will include general performance improvement, for lower end gpu's, experience enhancements, new spawn buildings to name a few. for full details visit http://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/in ... ear-update-02-info.77203/ .

First impressions are the graphics look a bit rough (obviously) but the gameplay is smooth. If you cant be bothered to follow the main story line there are a number of side mission that can be done.
