Clan Council

Hey thats right kiddies! Its WooDy here again with another exciting newsletter of random exciting things going on behind the closed doors of me! Wait....maybe that for another time, but none the less, lets get it on! (Rawrz n stuff)

First thing is first, I Love Sour Straws! Yay! Now I know some of you cant get them where you live, but if you could....do it! Theyre absolutely amazing
Alright now on to some other exciting stuff...
We have a very exciting tournament coming up SUNDAY 18TH NOVEMBER AT 2130(GMT) involving some of our wolves. The Game: Aliens vs. Predator 2, which originally came out on october 31st of 2001. Some will be marines, others will be predators (rough and tough) and other will be Aliens (theyre spoky, huh?) So what are the rules? Simple, lets break it down for ya.
THE FORMAT
This will be a knockout/last man standing format. The 13 starters have been randomly divided between the 3 races(thanks Swish). There will be a series of knockout rounds, where players with lowest kills will be eliminated, until we are left with 3 players, who will then fight it out for victory.
Each round will be made up of 3 maps, each map lasting 10 minutes. Each player will be told what race they will play and MUST stay this race until map change, where they will be given a different race.
For the remaining 3 players there's a small bonus. Each will be allowed to choose 1 map for the final round and top player will get to choose his/hers starting race.
ELIMINATIONS
Player kills will be totaled up at the end of each round(3maps). If there is a tie for lowest kills then player with most deaths will be eliminated.
Round 1 - 3 Lowest kill scores
Round 2 - 3 Lowest kill scores
Round 3 - 2 Lowest kill scores
Round 4 - 2 Lowest kill scores
Round 5 Last man standing for the remaining 3.

Anyone caught changing race during a map will automatically fill an elimination place.

Speaking of Aliens, the Aliens mod that Whisky and Hemi have been working on for Killing Floor is almost on its way to being done. I am sure they would like to give a big Thank You for all the people that helped testing it out so far...so kudos to you guys and gals!
In the wonderful world of gaming news, next week holds a couple of new events that some of you might be interested in checking out. First up...
Thats right, Guild Wars 2 is having yet another event going on from Friday the 16th till the 18th. What it entails is this:
Recently players have been noticing new posters appearing in the Lion's Arch hub, which when deciphered are mentioning sea creatures, boats and islands. Players are also noticing beached whales along the coast of Lion's Arch, pointing even more evidence towards some form of ocean involved content.
So this event looks like its gonna be a wet ride, so bring your scuba gear and get ready for that.
Next up:
Thats right! Star Wars The Old Republic is going to free-to-play! On November 15th, youll be able to jump in and play the game yourself and not to take my word for it, yay! So yeah, check it out. You might like it (wink)

Thats right, congrats to The Asset....you made it in bro! Now bow down and give me Sour Straws! You are now able to put [WPC] next to your name. Congrats again :)
The council has made a awesome decision on the Recruitment Officer status. Its gonna be LordDean! Yay! Congrats and may the Force be with you =-)

Whisky had given me all sorts of banners n stuff on this subject, but the newsletter didnt like me putting it up for some reason, DOH!
But what he did was got all of our server GameTrackers up and running, minus Natural S. 2 due to them not having it on their own system just yet. With that, he also put up the codes to have your own trackers for signatures and whatnot...pretty cool stuff. Ill have to have him make a post and make sure to say Thannnkk yew!

We all like to have fun, get out of hand at times but sometimes people have been taking it to the extreme and it upsets people at times. For instance, conversations on TeamSpeak. We can joke, but sometimes things we say can really get under peoples skins. LornDean is doing a major overhaul on the TS servers, and with that we are also in discussions with how to deal with banter and discussions. Now with the forums, we have come to an agreement that topics such as Politics and Religion should just be left alone. We've agree that things can and have gotten heated in the past due to these subjects, so if you feel the need to talk about it then do so on another system (thats with a pretty please) =-)
Anyway, thats it for me this week....got stuff to see and people to do....err the other way around.
Remember, there is always a wolf eating Sour Straws!

Good to hear, and nice Newsletter Woody. Also very glad about the religion topic being left out in TS seeing as no truly productive or thought provoking discussion has every occurred to date except between Whisky and I.
