So this week’s News Letter is brought to you by the amazing Whisky! No really I’m that amazing. Why are you all laughing? Oh I get it, you are laughing in agreement. Ok. This week's newsletter will be covering the goings on in and out of WPC including some awesome news and new members. A small update on our servers and some game news to act as padding... The Wolves in the Woods Well, there have been some real life events going on that certainly worth a mention here. I’d like to start by saying congratulations Hemi & Snooze! These two finally tied the knot on Friday! Nice one guys. There is even proof, OMGWOWPHOTOSAlso there are some more cubs on the way! Webley has his first on the way and SinWars has another soon to be born!! Congrats dads! Some of you may be thinking it’s been quiet around here lately, don’t forget that a number of wolves including LongFangs HalfDemon and Hydro have exams on. Just wait till they are out the way and things should get busy again. Study hard boys and girls. New Members New members this month are! Drum roll please! Daimao Virion Welcome to the clan! Be sure to wear your clan tags with pride. For those whom haven’t been accepted yet you may have to wait a week or two longer than usual what with Hemi & Snooze away on their honeymoon. Although I’m sure I can go poke the Founders to step up while they are away. (and by the Xenomorph that guides us all you will stay off FB and the site Snooze!) A Certain Server Some of you with keen eyes may have spotted a certain server pop up. Rest assured it will be with us all very soon. (Soon is a subjective term that could infer times of anything from tomorrow or ‘whenever I can be assed’ and as such should not be taken as an accurate time scale) Also our primary server received a steroid injection in the last week, double the RAM and even more powerful CPU means we can bring you an even smoother game. Thanks Buzz! Games News - Short -Killing Floor update went smoothly. Yay! -Orion Dino Beatdown has been having a steady stream of updates. It’s shaping up nicely, now I just need to get round to having a game again! -EVE Online has seen us seen its share of war. With over 200 ships LordDean flew against the invaders and won a decisive victory. Woo! Go WPC! -Natural Selection 2 has had a stream of constant updates, while we don’t currently have a server for it I think it may be worth keeping an eye on. -Aliens Colonial Marines now has a comfirmed release date of early 2013 along with the pre orders of collector’s editions (I was weak and already pre ordered mine...) -DayZ is an ARMAII mod that a couple of the guys have been getting into, by all accounts its a fun mod about zombie survival on an almost MMO level. Why not check out the thread on the boards and see if you can band up. Public Service Announcement TeamSpeak recently changed servers. Our TeamSpeak for a long time has used the URL ts.wolfpackclan.com So be sure to save it so you don’t have to go looking for the IP, so even if it changes server, the URL still goes to the right place.
