Welcome wolves! A very sunny newsletter this week, for some of us it might even be concidered hot!

Oh wait, I forgot you're all a bunch of nerds who dont leave their computers...

Lets get crackin' with this newsletter cuz I have a tan to work on. First off, something ya'll have been waiting for the last 3 weeks:
Interview with teh Woody!

Hello to all wolfs from Sin

This month I had the pleasure of interviewing this month’s Member Of The month, the truly unique DJ Woody. I had intended to do an audio interview but with our busy schedules we unfortunately didn’t have time, however after meeting DJ Woody on teamspeak for the first time this week (an experience you will never forget) this may not have been a bad thing lol.

As many of the newer wolfs (me included) some of us had never met Woody so the interview was get a little insight into what he is like and what he does. I had list of questions as long as my arm to ask but once you meet him you will soon realise that every time he answers a question you end up with another 10 you want to ask, which you will realise after reading the rest of this.

I know your profile on Facebook etc but was wondering if you had time to do a small bio, age, location, occupation. (Height, weight, criminal record...joking) A small bio eh?

Well my name is Chris Akin, I’m 31 years OLD. I’m originally from San Fernando, California but I’m now living in Bakersfield, California. I am a superintendant for Five Star Enterprises, and I deal with fixing and maintaining Apartment/Business complexes within the company. I DJ as a hobby on the side, and I’m almost ready to ask my girlfriend to marry me (exclusive bit, shhhh).

Favourite food/Drink?

Food, hmmm...Pizza or Sour Straws. Drink....something with alcohol in it. Now if only they could combine the two....you know, get to the crust, and BAM...your drunk as hell!

What cars/bikes do you like or hate?

I am a Mustang man. At a young age, I worked at a Mustang shop...kinda more or less the shop bitch, cleaning and doing inventory, but I still learned a fair amount about them. In this day and age tho, not the best choice if you wanna save on gas lol

I know you DJ, do you have a DJ residency anywhere?

I don’t actually. I’ve always been the type to not care about money, and do it for the love of music. I’m not the best DJ in the world, but it’s a natural high for me to see people dancing to what I play, and that’s enough for me. I’d rather savour the moments when I play, then to do a constant...

Have you played/met with any other well known djs?

I actually played a show where the production company I run with booked Bunny from Rabbit n the Moon. I’ve met a few DJ's in the past that played in LA, that are now hot stuff since I’ve met them, so yeah. But as far as super star DJ's like Hemi, I haven’t met him just yet

Are we able to hear any of your mixes online?

Yeah I think my soundcloud is www.soundcloud.com/tehwoody the soundcloud really needs updates, but many thanks to Hemi for the Album Art that I love!

Now that we have got to know Woody a little better it was time for the serious (yeah right) questions to begin...

Most importantly... how did you get MOTM?

I got MOTM because someone was brave enough to go..."Hey you know that one guy that makes strange sounds, and is constantly drunk on TS...yeah, let’s make him class president...err MOTM" Plus, a while back I provided the means for WPC to have a radio, in which I used to do lil shows n stuff. I can’t remember the name atm, but it was something like... "Get out of the Woods if WooDy has wood" ....or something like that.

What made you join WPC?

I joined WPC due to the 3rd instalment of AVP. I was an avid player of the first one, tourney material.. I played the 2nd one, didn’t really get a chance to adapt due to being in the Military at the time, but when the 3rd one came about, I wanted to do it a justice. I started scanning the servers, and noticed that they were slim pickings, until I saw the WPC servers were always bangin....I knew right there I wanted to be a Wolf!

How has WPC influenced you in respect to gaming?

E.g. purchases, change in style of play. My respect for WPC and the people that are part of it, is awesome. They really reminded me how games should be played, with people that can have fun with it no matter what. Id rather play games this way, then with the little sh*ts out there today, that ruin the experience of games by thinking that they are "The Law". I personally got away from gaming a bit, but when I got involved with the WPC, I was having a blast every time I got! Although I may not be around as much as I used to, I know that the fun is and will still be there when I do come around. The WPC is the best experience I’ve had gamer-wise, PERIOD.

What or who do you miss most about not being able to game or chat as much as you used to? (Facebook doesn’t count).

I have had good times over the time I spent with WPC in the past, and I miss the interactions over the weekends, you know...getting drunk and pee'ing on zombies. Unfortunately, I’m starting to (grow old) lol Nah, it’s just that I have more responsibilities now, and I’m trying to act the part, so my time is limited. I do miss everything tho.... Jeej!

What’s your favourite WPC moment? E.g. in teamspeak, gaming, snooze box?

My favourite moment of course (Snooze had to kick my ass cause of it) was when I posted a flash 1x1 dot in the Snoozebox, that made a loud noise every time someone typed something new in the box. I think it said in a squirrel voice "BOOM HEADSHOT!" lol

What’s your most embarrassing moment? E.g. in game, during dj set or on teamspeak?

LOL, I embarrass myself all the time, so it’s hard to say. I know one time during a DJ set on stage, I forgot to drop the 2nd track, and was trying to match beats while it was actually playing on stage. OOOOOPS! In my defence, that was a bit ago tho...I think? Lol

I've heard from a reliable source that "all woody does is drink beer and do funny voices", wonder who said that, care to explain a little?

lol I can’t imagine who would say that about lil ol me? Hmmmmmm.... lol But yeah, the explanation is clear, I got drunk and made fun of Justin Bieber's singing...word. (Squirrel ftw)

As you can see DJ Woody really is a wonderfully unique individual in the WPC family and this can be summed up with his final statement after I thanked Woody for doing the interview...

“Indeed. Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did... But if you have a funny hair-do, make sure to drop the condom and step away from the rubber chicken! Ciao!”

What more can you say than that.

That was an awesome read!! Thank you Sin. Now on to something ya'll have been waiting for the last couple months!!

Prometheus

Yes for the europeans it is finally happening this week, a new saga in the Alien movies is about to premier! Honeslty I think Hemi is more nervous for this than he is for our wedding!! Lets hope its good, and maybe it will give the people behind Alien colonial marines a boost to hurry the f*ck up with that game.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No new members this week yet. A good tip for those awaiting their application is to join us on teamspeak some time! This is where you get a good idea of who you're dealing with and what we're all about. On second thought ts might have been a reason for some to run in fear after this weekend... Some sketchy bussiness went down, oh dear...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Twas a busy week overall. Hemi and Whisky have been working hard to launch a new KF server wich is gonna be epic. Lots of banter going on in ts with Woody and Alpha our friendly neighbourhood drunks showing up, and some priceless comments by Kirschtomper. But lets not forget the highlight of the week: Eurovision songcontest!!! Sweden ftw, congrats Inso!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thats about it for this weeks news people. I leave you with a sad note, Hemi and myself wont we around for about 2 weeks after wednesday. Dont worry though, its all good! Friday we're getting hitched, after that we're getting drunk. To recover from all this epicness we've booked ourselves a nice little honeymoon away from computers.

Take care and see ya'll soon! And remember, there's always a wolf in the woods, and one at our wedding!!!!

Nice read indeed when i read it a few days ago, so sry for the late reply lol.
About the wedding tho, me and ma g/f won't be making it to that i'm afraid.
This since the arrives the day before and so will be suffering from serious jetlag,
plus she has to turn her whole day / night around as well.
I actually did take the day off allready, but on seccond thought it might be more fun for all of use when everybody has nothing to stress over eh?
So whenever you guys are ready for us, lemme know k? ;)
