With [WPC] Boldfart. Done by [WPC] Zeeky
-
> Q: Well we’ll start with the basics shall we!?
> A: Okay
-
> Q: What is your real name?
> A: Robert
-
> Q: How old are you?
> A : 53
-
> Q: Where do you live and who with?
> A: I live in Round Rock, TX with my wife, 19 yo son, and 2 Pomerainians that rule the
house.
-
> Q: Do you have a day time job? ( if so do you like it describe briefly what it entails?)
> A: Yes, I am a sr. software developer for a small company in Austin,TX. We repair and
ship pc's, components, TV's, kiosk hardware, etc. Been there 5 years next month. I co-write
the web interface software that we use to ship product through UPS and FedEx. Lots of
programming(yay), database work(yay), and client/customer support(uuuggghhhh, hate
it deeply).
-
> Q: If you were a packet of crisps what flavour would you be and why!?
> A: Not sure what crisp are, potato chips?
> Barbecue flavor for sure, their my favorite. I like spicy foods.
-
> Q: Oooh database work! Sounds good What did you want to do as a career when you
were young?
> A: I have a mech engineering degree and was in Houston, TX at the time so I did drilling tool
design. I switched careers to Information Tech in '95. I'm a self-taught programmer.
-
> Q: Where did the name Bold Fart come from?
> A: Because OldFart was already taken on steam.
-
> Q: How long have you been a member of the wolf pack clan?
> A: Since July 2010, so I'm new. It was literally right after I got Killing Floor and stayed up until 3:30am playing it.
-
> Q: Which member made purely of awesomeness recruited you? ;D
> A: Roflmao, Why you, the awesome Zeeky, of course.
-
> Q: Was there anybody or group in particular you gamed with before the wolf pack?
> A: I used to play a lot of WOW online and was a member of a great guild called
Republic. Over time the drama was just making the game a chore and I gave it up.
I could not get online without constant whispers of will you help me with this quest;
or will you help us kill this boss; or can you make me a blahblahblah or we need to
summon you to help us do a dungeon;. It became too serious, and after 2+ years, I
just quit. My son played and quit for the same reasons. I had to re-build my game
pc last month after I upgraded my video and I've not re-installed it. I'm done with
the whole MMO scene.
-
> Q: What do you feel you have brought to the clan since you joined?
> A: Mainly participation in games and the wpc forums, but I think the clan has
helped me more than I have helped the clan.
-
> Q: What is your greatest WPC achievement so far?
> A: I got to say MOTM has been the best and I've only been here 3 months. I'm shooting for
MOTY though, lol.
-
> Q: MOTY eh!? Let me know how that works out, What does being MOTM mean to you?
> A: It's really just getting recognition that I did something that I normally
would have done
anyway without a contest. Hemi asked me in-game, Bold, have you been to the site lately? I said
no but would go check later after we finish the game. After I read his article, I was literally
speechless. It really is a great honor and makes me want to more for the clan.
-
> Q: What do you enjoy most about the clan?
> A: Game nights!! The dedicated servers and great members. Gaming is fun here
without being over the top competitive.
-
> Q: What is your favourite game of all time?
> A: That is hard to answer, but I've got to say that FPS's are my favorite. Current favorites are Killing Floor,
Crysis (now that I have the hardware to run it), CS:S, COD sp, and HalfLIfe/HL2.
> A: Favorite of all time would have to be HL , HL2
-
> Q: What is your favourite clan game?
> A: Killing Floor, of course. Wish I was better at AvP, but I still suck at it.
-
> Q: What would you say is your favourite KF map?
> A: Biotics lab, then offices.
-
> Q: Here is a favourite of mine who has the best avatar excluding your own?
> A: There's this guy named Zeeky that has a really cool one. :)
-
> Q: If you could add any permanent game what would it be?
> A: This would probably change over time but right now I would add CS:S. Lots of people still
play it and I think it would be a good source for recruiting.(red : we are looking for moderators on
those forums m8..this game is still part of the clan)
-
> Q: Where do you think the wolf pack will be in 5 years time? ;)
> A: Larger of course, more games and servers. Well see some people come and go as always
but I think the core group will still be here.
-
> Q: Last of all if you could change one thing about the wolf pack... WHAT WOULD IT BE!?
> A: I would change nothing actually, other than get everyone in the same time zone.
-
Thank You guys! Good Job!

We added teamspeak 3 to our serverlist on the right side, finally we can
understand(sorta) what Conor is saying. Do not over-use this though.. we
still want to attract other players that do not use this system. On private
servers it is not a problem.

On a side note : Lord dean and Conor have shown their talents in these topics.
And its a great way to keep sertain parts of the community alive. All new mods

What Hemi forgot to mention is that we love our new TS3 channel, but please be aware of using it in game. In our private server I see no problem, but being a community clan we still like to be in contact with other gamers )and possible new members).

Great interview zeeky!!!

I'll get around to finding the tips for AvP and putting it where it belongs. Not much sense in creating whole new threads when it's already been done^^
