The Scrake, A history

Not much is known about the history of the scrake, but written here is what is known.

The Scrake, known by is tall lumbering appearance and leather like skin, was a semi successful result of Horzines experiments.

It was made to be the ultimate field medic, capable of take punishing amounts of pain and being able to continue with its work, this was the successful part, as it is able to take extraordinary amounts of pain and continue its slow progress towards it next target.

The part of the experiment that was considered a failure was the fact that the Scrake grew an insatiable appitite and facination with pain. it learned to deal with harder and harsher types of pain by being subjected to them, until it would actively seek pain.

Evidence of this can be seen and heard when the scrake has been dispatched, and his laughing corpse hits the ground.

A least he dies a happy chappy.

It is unknown how the chainsaw became a part of the scrake at all, as it was not added by horzine, as a chainsaw can not perform surgery in the field with it, let alone anywhere else.

Extermination of the Scrake

How to take this beasty out huh? well there are a number of wayto do this.

First and foremost, if you have a sharp shooter handy with a crossbow, ask him politely to shoot his head and this on any difficulty should suffice in putting a halt to his progress.

A berserkers more powerful melee attack can stun the scrake, which is handy for hit and run tactics, one powerful, three normal hits then run and repeat.

Even though scrakes are hard to distract, a firebug, if lucky, can set the blighter ablaze and have him running in circle, this does make his head harder to hit, to bare in mind the sharp shooters task will be made harder.

Tier 3 weapons such as ERBM14, Skar etc can make short work of the scrake, but like using the M32 or M79, this may not be the most cost effective course or action.

If all else fails, get everyone to aim and the head, and shoot away with side arm fire, this can also work, but only for a last resort quick dispatch.

If the scrake is aiming for a player, that person should stop firing and a distance player should take over, once a certain amount of damge is done, the scrake should change victims, saving your squad from a large armour repair bill and copious amounts of health vials.

Use these tactics and what comfortable for you, and work with your team, and you shouldnt have to worry about a scrake again.

Work together! This is a team play game, you are to survive, not show off your "skillz innit".

if your support class and have the aa12 just put 8 rounds bullets in his head

takes about 2 secs with that gun

let him get close as a support class - this way your spray fire doesnt miss the head

A little correction on the berserker; Secondary attack stuns him, period. No need for hit and runs, keep secondary attacking until his head pops off/he dies from loss of blood.

oooh, but hit a run sounds so fun bando! plus you get to bounce around, i like that :D
