in all seriousness. Remember i took a gamble with them mantle drivers and bought another card and complained about stuttering and hoped AMD will fix it?

The new drivers fixed it all, and BF4 in mantle mode runs at 200FPS most of the time (the engine cap limit)

Fun fun fun!!!. from 80-120fps to 200, for no cost, just some clever clogs at AMD and a internet download. I am pretty sure mantle apis will force directx APIs to sort their shit out. AMD just proved a massive point that DirectX11 could be so much better. Like mantle in early beta for instance.

Still to early to recommend cross fire, but if you want to be a beta boy and take a gamble, have a looksie!

my dx9 games run lovley, and anything with dx10/11 is super smooth. Mantle is just insane though. To the point where I dont want to play games on directx anymore, directx feels so 2013. dx games still run at around the same frames, if a tiny bit better.

Downloading the new update now, cheers webley. Hopefully this enables the mantle improvements for cards below the 290X, so I can see just what it allows me to do.

Though, I'm thinking of going for a new PSU in the future, a modular one so I don't have so many spare cables lying around in the bottom of my case, but I'm waiting till I have enough for that and a 2nd GPU, that way I can beat your score
