Hi guys, long time no seen.
I have a technical question about the AVP2 game
I changed my computer a time ago and the OS is Windows 8.1 and i also got a disk with OS Windows professional 7 and since i can not get avp2 working.
I updated to latest patch 1.0.9.6 and also latest patch of 2014

As soon as i push the play button i get the error "Client MFC application is not working".
Tried already lots off things but nada....

Have tried the DEP files thing, disabled antivirus and firewall etc...
Its not the game keyboard message with the hid either.
It has something to do with ntdll.dll but since the game is that old i don't find any usefull info

in eventviewer i got this, i translated it from dutch to english

any help would be appreciated

I am guessing you are already running the game in compatability mode for XP or somthing as i cant see this game being able to run on 8.1 , other than that make sure you get the latest patch and see which version of windows it is suppose to be running on and if it's designed for 32 or 64 bit.

Saying that i thought that game was dead ..... i am going to have to get it again i think LOL

how many people are usally on it these days????

Well indeed the game is not death yet lol, a new server patch came out and there are about 22 server out there for the moment.

People playing depends from day to day, somethimes there are about 20 playing and somethimes only 4 or none.

I managed to get it to work again on my VMWare machines running XP or Vista.Lots off people can run it though on W7 or W8 but i tried lots of things without succes.

I play mostly on Thursday so see you there maybe
