Hi-Dee-Ho people, its almost Christmas time! A time where friends and family get together, exchange gifts, have a laugh and get stuck in traffic trying to get home after it all ends. I personally want to wish you all a very Merry (or Happy) Christmas and I hope Santa gives you all what you want this year, which is probably my autograph. IT COULD HAPPEN!! This weeks newsletter is brought to you by the letter W.....
First of all, I want to congratulate everybody for doing a super job on the 21st. Surviving the end of the world was not an easy task, but we all did it! Now if only I can get my damn T-shirt...
Now for some random news from places i've never been:
Seattle, Washington (2012-12-20) Have you ever thought about getting a Christmas tree only to want the biggest one you can find, and then realizing its too big for your house? This man has! Patrick Kruger was determined to fit his Christmas tree into his house — even if he had to break the roof to squeeze it in. "I found a tree I really liked, however, as you can see from the pictures, it was hardly the right size for our home," the Seattle architect told TODAY.com. So he came up with a creative solution: he cut off the top 6 feet and turned it into a prop he then attached to the roof, creating an optical illusion that the Christmas tree had literally burst through the building.
I think that is pretty clever considering when I first saw the pictures I couldnt even tell. He gets my BAMF Stamp of the day, word.
Las Vegas, Nevada (2012-12-04) Ever been so lonely that you decided to phone up a customer service hotline about shoes and stay on the phone with them for 10 hours? (Dont answer that Tesla) Unlike many other online retailers (including parent company Amazon.com), Zappos.com plasters its site with its toll-free customer service number, which is staffed 24/7. When a Midwestern college student called the site's Nevada headquarters two weeks ago to buy a pair of Uggs boots, the transaction turned into a chat marathon for 10 hours about the city, where the student was considering moving. The rep was able to take some breaks during the call; the customer agreed to hold the line.
Now thats nuts but good customer service. I sure hope they at least sold a pair of shoes.
Moving on....

The council would like to take this opportunity to warn you all again about the policies set on these boards. We have agreed in the past that discussing certain topics on the boards or in TS are ill-advised. Topics such as Religion and Politics are such to get people frustrated to the point of heated arguements, and we really dont want that to happen with our members. If you feel that you want to discuss things between people reguarding these said topics, then please keep them in private conversations. Thank you again for your cooperation.
New Members There is nothing to report this week. Due to the holiday season, a lot of us are busy with shopping and all that good stuff. Stay tuned next week as we see if some of our hopefuls make it to Wolf status.
